Based in Lancashire, Emotive Capture was founded by leading Award Winning, North West Photographer and Entrepreneur, Emma Holt BA(Hons).
Her vision for the Company, was not only to set up a school of Photography, that taught individuals how to use their Camera and get off automatic settings, but to really connect with their surroundings, to explore the great outdoors and to actually relax from a busy working week.
Her Photography Tuition Won the 2021 Annual UK Enterprise Awards. Best Photography Tuition in the North West. A massive achievement, won by hard work and dedication.
With everything that has happened recently, Mental illness is on the increase, by letting go and spending time connecting with your creative side, enjoying the beauty in nature and immersing yourself in your surroundings is such a worthwhile and proven pastime, it helps to ease Anxiety, Depression and also engage in the act of mindfulness.
Time out means a healthy mind!

Emotive Capture Photography School also champion Women in Photography, especially Women in Landscape Photography. Their isn’t many Women teaching the subject on location. Why is this? Our founder Emma Holt BA(Hons) decided to challenge and continue to change this.
Through her continued work and projects, including her written Dissertation. Emma Holt determined that one of the most common factors could be safety. This wasnt the only reason….Many Women feel they just aren’t good enough, or not technical minded to be capable of running such a Workshop.
Emma is on a Mission to change the perceptions of Women in Photography. Emma herself knows first hand how this can be undermining, often receiving remarks herself.
It her wish, that no matter what Gender you are or identify with…or how ever old you are….or have a disability….that you should be able to enjoy Photography and the connection it brings with your chosen subject matter.
And if wish take make a Career out of this subject matter, especially Landscape Photography, you can do so….who ever you are.
