Emma Holt ba(HONS)
Founder and Director/Head Instructor.
Emma Holt, has gained a 1st class BA(Hons) in Photography as well Exhibiting at various locations across the North West. She has also Exhibited in London and South Africa. During her time at University, Emma Holt was awarded the Student of the Year award in 2011, then went onto to win a place to Exhibit in South Africa. Since graduating, Emma has set up a Wedding Photography Business with her friend, then went onto set up the Fantasy Portrait Business called ‘Pecan Moon Photography’,
Emma’s Father, Fredrick Alan Walmsley, has been her inspiration, now a retired grade eight Musician and gaining a Fellowship in Music, Artist and a Industrial Photographer, being ‘creative’ was already a massive part of her. Having a background in Fine Art and Design has helped her to really produce some of the most stunning atmospheric images, which have graced the walls of well known Restaurants and Venues. Her ability to connect with her surroundings has seen her become one the North’s Leading Female Photographers. Since graduating, Emma has had several articles published and images, in major publications. She has also had several solo exhibitions. Books and Prints of her Work can also be purchased. Chris Holt
Director/ Logistics.
Chris has supported his Wife Emma, since she left University. His love for the Great Outdoors has seen him relish in the opportunity to find new and exciting locations to hold Photography Workshops, a keen Amateur Photographer, Chris loves getting to know the Workshop Participants and sharing creative ideas.
In his spare time Chris is a classical Guitarist, having had music lessons from Emma’s Father, who himself, now a retired grade eight Musician also gaining a fellowship of Music.
Chris is also a keen Mountain Climber and enjoys Hiking for Charity events, such as Macmillian Cancer Support. Chris will be participating in several Charity hikes later in the year.

Emma Ford has gained a 1st class BA(Hons) in Photography and apart from being a Professional published Wildlife Photographer, Emma is also a fully qualified Teacher & Mentor for Children with special needs. Her caring nature and wonderful teaching ability, means that Emma often teaches Children 1:1 Photography. Emma will use her skills & techniques to help and guide Children of all abilities including Children with special needs.
Her Photography has seen her travel to some amazing Countries including; South Africa, Kenya, Botswana, Namiba,Tanzania. She has witnessed some incredible sights, from watching the Great Migration of Wildebeest struggle across the rivers in Kenya, a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti in Tanzania, to the desolate landscape of Namibia, where she saw her first proper sighting of a black Rhino. (One of her favorite animals).
